I was a bit doubtful as I didn't know the brand in comparison to others but I'm glad I took the dive. The knife itself is extremely sharp and has some great designs engraved into it. The cost price is less but competes and holds well against those bigger named brands. It has a nice protective sleeve that comes along with it. One minor gripe (honestly just a nitpick) is that I saw other reviewers getting their knives in a more professional looking box while mine just came in an all black one. Again, doesn't really detract from anything but it would have been nice to also get. Regardless, this can easily be gifted to an avid cook you may know. The hilt is also pretty durable and I can't see it breaking down in the future. Compared to the knives I currently have, this certainly is a step up into premium territory. And overall, it just looks aesthetically pleasing to view while chopping up the vegetables etc.
